PHOTOGRAPHER FROM POLISH JURA
PHOTOGRAPHY IS MY PASSION

"The nature photographer may often go home with empty hands - but never with an empty heart" Franz Bagyi
Welcome to my website. My name is Izabela Reich. I was born and raised in Poland. In 2008, I moved to Germany, where I lived and worked for many years.
At some point, the time just felt right – I bought a camera and started taking photos.
In 2023, I decided to return to Poland. I now live in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland (Jura), a region that has held a special place in my heart for many years. Long before I ever picked up a camera, I would visit this area with awe – a land full of untouched nature and majestic limestone rocks. During my holidays in Poland, while I was still living abroad, I would return here with deep longing. The Jura was my refuge – a place that calmed me, enchanted me with its natural beauty, and gave me peace. Today, I am fortunate to call it my home, and I am sure: nowhere else could I feel more truly myself.
My love for nature has been with me since childhood. Long walks, forest hikes, and trips to quiet, hidden corners are now a part of my everyday life. Every time I go out, I take my camera with me – to capture what is fleeting yet deeply moving. Nature photography has become more than just a passion for me; it’s a way of seeing the world with mindfulness, gratitude, and deep respect. The most meaningful moments are those encounters with forest creatures in their natural habitat. These quiet, intimate experiences – when I get to observe wild life up close – are deeply moving and the heart of my photographic work.
Even if I sometimes come back without spectacular shots, I never return with an empty heart. Every moment spent in nature holds its own value.
I hope my photos can offer you a brief sense of the closeness to nature that constantly moves and inspires me.
Thank you for being here.
Izabela Reich
